Fan shroud for Rostock Max V3
thingiverse
I have used the shrouds by idea_beans for about a year now, but I wanted even better air flow. So I designed these from scratch in Fusion 360 using the previous ones as inspiration. These new designs feature large diameter air pipes that allow a significantly larger amount of air flow to move from the fans directly to the shroud hovering above the part. To print this part, I lay it flat on my printer because it fits perfectly. I use support under the fan cage for stability. Remember to add several perimeters of brim or else the inner arc of the shroud may detach from the build surface before it connects together properly. Update: I've added a new STL with an even tighter annulus, giving more space around the hot end.
