Looking for an efficient Jhead cooling shroud for my Prusa i3 featuring Greg Wade's extruder, I decided to design my own 40mm fan shroud. The main reason was that my previous setup negatively affected prints during ABS printing. In contrast, this new design ensures no airflow disturbs the prints, resulting in significant improvements. Designed using Sketchup and printed with ABS at 240°C nozzle temperature and a heated bed at 80°C, it mounts on the right side of Greg Wade's extruder alongside a JHead Hot End.
