Fan Shroud for Print Cooling
youmagine
Air flows directly through fins to the nozzle, where it cools the hotend down significantly. A high-temp silicone rubber coating on the heat block protects both the shroud and the surrounding area from extreme temperatures. The cooling fan draws air away from the heat-sink instead of blowing it in, which leads to more efficient cooling overall. All printed parts are made of durable PLA material. 40 x 20 mm by 40 mm centrifugal blower is used for print cooling purposes. A bracket designed specifically for regular Kossel Mini end effectors is included with this model. For your convenience, a SCAD file is also available for customization. A CAD mockup of the hotend can be viewed at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:341689. Special thanks go out to lXGaimMasterXl for their contributions to this design.
