I recently tried the all-metal effector from 713Maker, which forced me to go back to standard fan shrouds. To improve cooling compared to my previous setup, I swapped out the stock 30x10mm blower fans for larger 40x20mm blower fans (BPB4020M12). I'm pleased with the results so far and am sharing them now. Print settings were: 0.20mm layer height, 20% infill, and supports recommended. I used Proto Pasta's Carbon Fiber filament. To minimize support material, I designed the effector to have minimal internal supports, then had Simplify3D create a few supports from the build platform that I tweaked slightly - no additional screws or glue were needed because the fans fit snugly in place.
