This fan shield is designed to snap onto most Creality hot end housings to: Prevent extruded filament from a failed print, strings of filament, and debris from being sucked into the fan during printing. Protect the fan from tools that may accidentally enter the housing and damage its blades. Pull air away from the filament cooling fan by drawing it from the left side of the hot end. Reduce fan noise to some extent. Supports: Depending on your printer setup, you might need a row of supports for the small flat surface inside this print. To minimize cleanup after printing, consider adjusting the support density (usually lower). Snug Fit: This design is meant to fit very snugly onto the hot end enclosure, which can make it challenging to snap into place after the first print. Clean the interior as needed, ensuring that both the top and bottom panels are smooth for a proper fit. Note: This shield does not replace or interfere with the stock filament cooling fan; it simply projects the larger fan on the hot end, shielding it from damage and noise.
