Fan PWM controller generator module
thingiverse
This module is designed to connect a voltage source from one end and two fans on the other. Placing one affordable PWM module inside allows you to control the speed of managed fans correctly, meaning that you do not apply PWM directly to the main Vcc of the fan. This module generates a 5-volt PWM signal to adjust the fan's speed through the PWM wire, and it is the electronics inside the fan that manage the power. It works with any voltage level you want, whether you prefer 5 volts, 12 volts, or 24 volts. Just be aware that the maximum input voltage of this module is 30 volts, so it's best to avoid using fans that require 48 volts. The module generates a common signal between 0 and 5 volts. If your fans need a special signal level, you can look at the pictures provided to find a cut and reworked lane on the PCA. This isolates the output MOSFETs from the internal 5-volt supply, allowing you to connect the left side of the module to the voltage level you prefer. To achieve the correct height, you may need to stand up some of the buttons slightly. All screws are M1.5 in size. You can also find similar small screws on DVD readers and other electronic scraps.
