I had a problem with my Dii cooler, which I printed out for my i3 V2.1, as it wouldn't fit after I replaced the heat block with a cheap one from China that I bought on eBay because that's all I had available. And since the hot end required a 6mm heater, not the stock 6.25mm, I used a 12V, 40W heater from China that cost only 99p as it was the cheapest option. Well, I was using my blower fan strapped to the printer, but that didn't cut it, so I decided to model one up for my exact build and was amazed at how well it worked - the fan just slots in and thrusts air through perfectly. It looks great too, and I probably could have fit it with the stock hot end as I made the hole big enough. You will need support for the bracket tops, but I simply used touching build plate only supports, which came away easily enough.
