Two steel washers are also epoxied to the stepper mount and wind barrier. Attached using two 1/2" dia x 1/8" thick neodymium magnets epoxied flush into the fan mount, along with two 1/2" x .090 steel washers epoxied to the stepper mount and wind barrier. Check out the drawing for more details. The 12-volt 15 or 20 mm fan is wired directly into existing fan wires. The fan blows air away from the stepper. Fan bolt hole dimensions are 32mm between bolt centers. To mount the fan, you will need to tap four 3mm x .5 holes in the fan mount and purchase some 3mm-.5 x 10mm screws. You may also need to lengthen your heater wires.
