Fan Mount for Kossel Mini Delta Printer

This is a custom fan mount for hot end cooling and printed part cooling, designed to handle extreme overhangs with ease. It features one axial fan at 40mmx400mm and three radial blower fans at 50x15mm, all of which can be printed without supports. To ensure proper assembly, print the fan shrouds on the tip. You'll need M3 screws and nuts, as well as some spacers for added stability. Tighten the screws and nuts firmly to prevent the blower from rotating downwards. In a future revision, I plan to add a mechanism that prevents the blower from falling down altogether. To date, this has only happened once. I've also installed brass threaded inserts after several weeks of printing, although I'm not convinced it's absolutely necessary. Some minor notes are worth mentioning: * One blower cools the IR probe with no issues. * There is ample space for a silicone sock around the heater block. * Nozzle ends are positioned quite high above printed parts. This design iteration is number 4 (iterations 1-3 were never released, and I'm currently working on version 5). This is my first upload. For further customization, step files are attached. As of January 2018, this remains my favorite design despite considering reducing the number of blowers to two or one and improving airflow through a better fan duct. In February 2018, I began working on adding holes for nuts so that they don't have to be screwed into plastic. I'm also developing a second version where the IR probe mount can be used to attach normal endstop switches. By March 2018, the first version of the endstop switch had run successfully. I was currently improving heat sink cooling airflow and testing minor changes. The probe would be attached using rare earth magnets.
