I built a new mounting system for this fan by swapping out its bulky, circular base with a sleek, compact design that maximizes vertical space and minimizes floor clutter. The original base was too large and limited in its height potential, so I decided to hang the fan from the ceiling instead. To make it work, I opted for a single long screw that runs through the entire assembly, but ultimately chose to use two machine screws for added stability and security.
