If you found my things useful, you can buy me a cup of coffee: http://paypal.me/marcuss24 This lower case model now features a fan mount specifically designed for the Vontar X96 Max. As a result, it's easier to cool the CPU properly. I've also added an Arduino Pro Mini and IR receiver module to ensure that the TV box only boots when the power button on the remote controller is clicked, rather than automatically booting every time the power supply is connected. Simply swap out the original lower body with this one. There are two versions of the lower body available: - x96_max_body.stl: This model does not have a hole for the IR receiver module. - x96_max_body_ir.stl: This model has a 5mm hole for the IR receiver module. To assemble your device, you will need the following parts: - A 70mm fan that runs on 12V (but is connected to 5V) - Four M4 screws for attaching the fan - Four M4x12 screws for securing the feet - Rubber foot stickers from the original lower body (which fit perfectly on this printed version) - A CPU heatsink (which can be identical to those used with Raspberry Pi devices) - An Arduino Pro Mini (optional) - A 5mm IR receiver module (also optional)
