Fan Holder for Inspur LSI 9300-8i (Broadcom HBA)

Remix for the Inspur LSI 9300-8i HBA. It needed slight resizing to fit this model. Additionally, the heatsink fastener was being pressed down and not allowing for good pressure to the chip, so I rounded out a corner. Temps: Without fan and no disks: 75C With fan (40x20) and no disks: 42C *Note* I did end up redoing the thermal paste with Arctic MX-6 due to its high viscosity, so this could further attribute to the lower temps. That old thermal paste was HORRIBLE to clean off. Temps measured with the on chip sensor using storcli64. Not all HBA's have the sensor and the sensor only updates the temp every few minutes. Command below (adjust controller number as needed): /opt/MegaRAID/storcli/storcli64 /c0 show all | grep -I roc Needs supports for the top overhang. Printed in PLA (black) for fitting. Final print was in PETG (red) for higher heat tolerance and it's flexibility when installing. PLA has a glass transition of 50C-60C, so print in anything with a higher glass transition. I prefer PETG over ABS in this application for it's flexibility. Used a Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX fan for extra air flow. Ended up cutting the rubber mounting pins right below the last stud. Being a Noctua, it's already quiet, so putting the fan up against the mount isn't an issue. I just didn't want to use screws due to the lack of space between the heatsink and mount. They're definitely mashed in there, but it also helps with keeping pressure on the mount Fan is plugged into a SATA Power to FAN converter so the fan is 100% at all times. WHEN INSTALLING, BE CAREFUL OF ANY ONBOARD SMDs. There are some small ones under the heatsink on this specific card.
