I construct a basic Panaflow Fan Holder with an added protector at the rear. A 12-volt power supply is connected to a 24-volt fan, resulting in complete silence. The fan originates from surplus or old computer equipment. The front screws measure 4mm or #8, while the end screws are 3mm or 4-40, depending on personal preference or available tools. Each end features a 1/8" nylon washer for added support. Alternatively, the Fan Gard can be repurposed as a speaker cover due to its tendency to amplify fan noise when attached to the rear of the fan.
