Fan grill for Noctua NH-L9i low profile CPU cooler

This is a custom fan grill that I designed and printed quickly for my noctua NH-L9i low-profile CPU cooler. The small form factor pc build required a solution to prevent cables from tangling around the fan in a confined space, so I created this grill to address the issue. There are two files to download: a case file and a modifier file. To simplify the printing process, you can load up the case file, remove the vertical perimeters using your slicer's settings, switch to honeycomb infill, and choose your preferred density. This will result in an entire print consisting of the grill pattern. However, I took a different approach by keeping the vertical perimeters intact on the case STL and loading the modifier STL as a separate part within the case file. Then, I instructed the slicer to eliminate vertical perimeters only for the modifier STL. This led to the circular interior having a honeycomb pattern while the rest of the print remained solid. By doing so, users can easily modify the grill's infill type and density according to their preference. Keep in mind that you will need longer M3 screws with this added piece, so make sure to get them ready.
