fan funnel reduction 25 to 50 mm for rebel2.stl
thingiverse
I wasn't keen on buying a small fan (25mm) because I'd already had experience with the bigger ones (50mm). When I needed a fan for my coldend (cooler), I figured I could use a 25mm fan cooler mount piece, which came with my printer parts. It had to be modified since it was originally planned for the Czech printer REBEL2. You can use this setup with anything that works. Here's what you'll need: M3 - 10mm bolts for the 50mm fan M2 - 5mm bolts for the reduction to cooler mount As I designed this piece, I didn't focus on axial symmetry so it can be as high as possible. This made it difficult to add M2 holes in every corner, only in the two upper ones were successfully added. After assembly, there is a small gap at the bottom which some insulating tape easily handles. This model printed perfectly using Slic3r over Repetier Host with a 0.4 nozzle and PLA. The most tilted wall was thickened since it seemed a bit too steep. I like Blender :)
