To prevent a box fan from toppling over, use feet that fit approximately 104mm wide and have an inner metal section measuring around 90mm. If these don't work for your specific fan, adjust the provided AutoDesk Inventor file. Attach the feet to the fan; if necessary, apply silicone glue for a secure fit. Upon reflection, I would enhance the support thickness on the "toes" to avoid breakage like my experience of snapping one off and having to melt it back together.
