Fan Duct Hypercube Prusa i3 MK3 Style
thingiverse
I combined the fan duct of the Prusa i3 MK3 and Hypercube by making several key adjustments: I relocated the flow duct to the bottom (see screenshot) and reduced its thickness from 1mm to 0.4mm - a move that requires extra care when printing the first layer, as it can be fragile. Additionally, I implemented minor fixes to simplify the print process. This modified fan duct is designed to fit snugly with a silicone sock and inductive probe. To validate the performance of my design, I conducted an experiment using water flow, which showed promising results. While I'm unsure if these findings translate directly to air flow, the data suggests that this setup could be effective. In practice, it has performed well so far, allowing me to print several items without issue.
