Fan Duct for Smartrap Core
thingiverse
This is a custom 40mm fan duct specifically designed for the Smartrap Core/Smartcore 3D printer. I carefully crafted it around my own V1.2 printer equipped with an E3D Lite6 hotend, and I believe it should also work well with an E3D V6 setup, but unfortunately, I cannot verify that for you. Print Settings: * Rafts: Don't worry about using rafts. * Supports: No supports are necessary. * Resolution: I used a resolution of 0.3mm. * Infill: I chose an infill percentage of 40%. Notes: I utilized a single layer 3mm brim to maintain stability at the corners and managed to print a functional version without a fan by simply using gentle blowing to bridge towards the slot area near the end. How I Designed This: The CAD design for this custom duct was created in Onshape, a public platform where you can find the original file. To locate it, search for "Smartcore V1.2 Duct" and look under Part Studio 3; the other available options are older attempts that did not work out.
With this file you will be able to print Fan Duct for Smartrap Core with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Fan Duct for Smartrap Core.
