This fan mount/duct/nozzle is designed for RepRapPro Mendel's updated x-carriage, positioning it next to a print head's nozzle requiring cooling. An alternative version mounts opposite to the head. Assemble by screwing like a print head, using nuts in hexagonal nut slots and securing the fan in ABS plastic. Avoid PLA due to potential melting issues. Be cautious of printer Y range and part height to prevent contact with bed clips or the print bed itself. Adjust tube_start and tube_end in the openscad source for optimal nozzle positioning and length. Note that recompilation may take a long time due to minkowski sum usage, which can be reduced by adjusting sphere resolution.
