Fan Duct for Raise3D N2 Dual Extruder Used As Single Extruder
thingiverse
I've been using a dual-extruder N2, but honestly, I'd have preferred a single-extruder. This upgraded right-side fan duct significantly improves part cooling when only the left extruder is in use. It channels all of the air from the right-side OEM 35mm fan directly onto the part, instead of squandering three-quarters of the airflow on an unused heater. To optimize cooling, you can also adjust the fan speed in your slicer by simply moving one connector on the printhead. Please note that this modification necessitates removing the right nozzle and requires careful attention to clearances, as they are quite tight. I made adjustments to ensure proper fitment by relocating the washers from outside the fan to inside the duct, where they could clear the cooling fins without obstruction.
