Fan duct for E3D Hotend on Mendel90

<p>This shroud fits <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:157992">NumberSix's X-Carriage Fan Mod</a>, the <a href="https://github.com/nophead/Mendel90/blob/master/dibond/stls/wades_block.stl">standard Mendel90 wades extruder</a>, <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:271107">RalphHiltons part-cooling fan</a> and the E3D v6 hotend.</p> <p>I've made another version for the <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18379">Greg's Wade reloaded extruder</a>: <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3609489">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3609489</a></p> <p>I've uploaded a version with 2.5mm holes to tap an M3 thread directly into the plastic, and one with nut traps for 5.5mm M3 nuts.</p> <p>The hole at the top allows for a wing nut or thumb screw (&lt;= 21mm) to mount the extruder.</p> <p>You can find the Fusion360 project here: <a href="https://a360.co/2HjKwTa">https://a360.co/2HjKwTa</a></p> <h3> Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>Mendel90</p> <p><p class="detail-setting rafts"><strong>Rafts: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>Yes</p> <p><p class="detail-setting resolution"><strong>Resolution: </strong> <div><p>0.25</p></div></p> <p><strong>Notes:</strong></p> <p>I recommend printing fan-side down and using support, but it might be possible to print hotend-side down with with a brim and avoid supports.</p> </p></p> Category: 3D Printer Parts
