There's not much point in using noisy 5015 fans for the excellent BMG Extruder. Most users opt for a quieter solution. This duplex fan duct is specifically designed to accommodate quiet 40mm fans like the Noctua series. The design features two 40mm fans, one dedicated to keeping the hotend's sink cool and the other focused on cooling down the printed part. I've optimized my prints in two separate parts to minimize filament usage and keep weight low. BOM: 1x 40x10mm fan for hotend cooling 1x 40x20mm fan for printed part cooling (optional replacement with a 40x10mm, but not ideal) 8x M3 screws for plastic (length = fan depth + 2 to 4mm) HOW TO GUIDE: 1. Print both parts (refer to print settings for further details) 2. Insert the fan duct into the duplex fan holder (triangle shape fits into the triangle hole). 3. Secure the 40mm fans in place with M3 screws. 4. Attach the duplex fan holder to the hotend, positioning it as low as possible. The bottom of the duplex fan holder should be flush with the heatsink's bottom surface. 5. Adjust the fan duct height slightly above the nozzle outlet hole. It's designed for a friction fit that allows for adjusting the fan duct height according to your configuration. You can choose to glue the fan duct in place once adjusted, but I prefer keeping mine removable. 6. Enjoy printing!
