When I installed my Fang hotend mod from this website, I discovered that the fan mount left the fan blades exposed, leaving them vulnerable to damage. To address this issue, I quickly designed a protective cover to safeguard these delicate components. This custom-made shield fits snugly around a standard 40mm fan, allowing you to either simply place it on top or secure it with longer mounting screws for added stability. I created two distinct designs - one featuring slats and the other showcasing fan blades - so you can choose the style that suits your preferences best. I may also introduce additional custom designs in the future to cater to diverse tastes.
