This thing lets you put a cooler right in front of a fan. If you have one of those Prusa i3 clones, take a look at the first and last pictures to see how it works. If you're printing with ABS, use ABS for this thing. Printing PLA near the hotend might melt it if you print ABS. The borders are 1.2 mm, so you can use nozzles of 0.2, 0.3 or 0.4 mm. It should work just fine without any infill and with a resolution of 0.2. I added the freeCAD file in case someone wants to make it better. For my printer, I couldn't find anything that fit, so I made this part myself. The part can be inserted into the extruder left or right of the grid where the fan blows air through. At my printer, the air goes forward and blows into your eye when you're looking at it. But at the hotend, it's more useful. Here are three versions: V1 has a step on the left (from front view), V2 doesn't have any steps (you need to glue one in place with double-sided tape), and V3 has a step on the right. I've also included a freeCAD file of the fan, just in case someone wants to improve it. The steps and wall parts are 1.2 mm thick, so you can use an extruder with nozzles of 0.2, 0.3 or 0.4 mm. It should work fine even without any infill and with a layer thickness of 0.2. My first version was printed in PLA and works great for further PLA prints. If you're printing with ABS, it's better to print this part in ABS as well because PLA might melt at the higher temperatures.
