Fan Comb

This stylish comb was designed with long hair in mind, perfect for creating the trendy 'updo' styles that were all the rage decades ago and now making a comeback. The creative process began by carefully measuring an old favorite comb that's no longer widely available, then using Fusion 360 to recreate its design. Getting the angles just right took some trial and error, but the end result was well worth it. One notable change made from the original design is the flat underside of the teeth on the STL model, ensuring they stick securely to the print bed without any issues. Unfortunately, my own hair isn't long enough to put this comb to good use, but I've included some helpful resources for those interested in trying out these retro hairstyles: check out xovain.com or nymag.com for inspiration. For those looking to bring this design to life, here are the print settings used: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Modified Folger Tech Prusa 2020 i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Important Notes: To achieve a successful print, it's crucial to keep the bed level and heated around 60°C. Printing one comb at a time is recommended for optimal results, as printing two simultaneously may lead to adhesion issues with the teeth.
