We concentrated on where lost energy goes once it moves down the track in this project. Our objective was to create a high-speed and efficient car that accurately tracks the right amount of energy loss. Working with a partner, we designed two distinct cars. We created 3-D models of these cars using materials such as batteries and PASCO wheels, which we then attached to the vehicles to track their energy consumption. We applied our prior knowledge from throughout the year to calculate the amount of energy lost due to circuits, motion, and heat.
