I replaced my builder single extruder's original mount because it was underperforming and lacked aesthetic appeal, so I created a custom bracket that perfectly integrates with my designed fan guard: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:496975 You'll need to attach two small M3 screws for the metal bracket to take hold. For added strength, four M3 20mm stainless steel bolts do the trick as seen in the provided photo. View License guidelines for details.
