Fan Blower Hood - Shroud for Geeetech I3 Prusa
thingiverse
This is my version of Fan Blower Hood (Shroud). It fits perfectly on Geeetech i3 without obstructing air flow. Simply move the hotend so that wires are not in front or at side, and instead place them at the back. To do this, unscrew a nut, move it out of the way, and then screw it back in place. For securing the hood, you will need two M3x10 mm screws with allan screw heads or similar types. Fortunately, the blower fan does not require any bolts or nuts - it holds securely by its tight fit. If you're unsure where to purchase this excellent blower fan, check out the link at https://goo.gl/1RgWKR. Print Settings: Printer: Geeetech I3 B Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20 % Notes: When printing PLA, use a speed of about 40 mm/s and keep the hotend at 210C, while maintaining a bed temperature between 50-70C. For optimal results, set shell thickness to 0.8 mm and flow rate to 100%. Feel free to adjust these settings as needed since they are not critical factors in terms of sagging or other issues. If you encounter any problems, consider adding supports with the "Touching buildplate" feature. To improve adhesion to the bed, use hairspray or increase the temperature up to 70C - the higher the temperature, the better it sticks. How I Designed This
