The Parallella cluster stack features 144 processors and boasts 200 GFlops within a compact size of approximately 150x86x54mm, making it a miniature supercomputer. Despite the Epiphany processors' low power consumption, the Zynq FPGAs hosting ARM cores and glue logic can get warm and necessitate cooling. To address this, a design has been created to accommodate two 120mm fans, configurable through epiphany-parameters.scad to adapt for different fan sizes. The design's original source is available on GitHub: https://github.com/jeremybennett/scad-examples. In this iteration, the fans measure 25cm in thickness and are secured using M3x40 bolts. The entire stack is affixed to the base with M3x8 bolts. Certain fans may have grill covers, which require spacers matching the lugs' thickness on the base. These spacers can be printed from epiphany-spacer.scad (you will likely need 4).
