Fan Attachment
thingiverse
Vent hose attachment for box housing my 8" Makerfarm Prusa printer. Print Settings Printer: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 250 micron Infill: 40% Notes: Printed in ABS. Size and sharp corners caused some warping, but it wasn't bad enough to ruin the part. PLA might be a better choice for this print. Post-Printing Attachment of vent hose mount to printer box Construction A 3" HVAC vent coupling was SuperGlued to the flat part of the attachment. The 3" HVAC vent coupling would have been printed, but it was already on hand, so it was used instead. The part was flipped over and four magnets were glued to the recessed locations in the corners. Four cheap ceramic magnets were purchased at the hardware store for $2. Lastly, strips of sheet metal were cut and screwed to the outside of the box. How I Designed This The attachment was designed in OpenScad using an included file that can be modified as desired.
