I've revamped this project: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:158179. The 5mm LEDs were frequently failing, so I replaced them with LED strips which provide a better look. The LED strip mounting dimensions are 10mm x 50mm; you can, of course, customize everything to your preferences. The fan mount part is the same as in my previous version. This design uses M4 screws and the plastic parts may not be as accommodating as lasercut wood when it comes to screw sizes.
With this file you will be able to print Fan and led strip mount for printrbot plus v1(version 2) with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design.
