Silencing the LG PH300 pocket beamer is a breeze with just a few simple tools. Grab a 60mm 5v fan, a soldering iron, and some shrink tubes, and you're good to go! I opted for the Noctua 60mm 5v fan, which fit perfectly in place of the original. To make it work, I simply desoldered the cables from the old fan and reattached them to the new one with a few precise solder joints. To secure the adaptor, I used a dollop of hot glue on the front plate - easy peasy! Now my beamer is quieter than ever. If you're feeling handy, disassembling the unit won't lose you any warranty, as LG doesn't bother marking their components. Just grab a Phillips screwdriver and you'll be done in no time.
