I have a FDM 3D printer that has a poor extruder, and I am struggling to find the best retraction distance, retraction speed and deretraction speed and extra length on restart in slic3r. I am currently at 2mm retraction with 40mm/s retraction speed and 1mm/s deretraction speed and 0.3mm extra length on restart. I thought that extruding a single wall with the thickness the same with the nozzle diameter, it would be a good test for my ever changing settings... So here it is. For 0.2 0.3 0.4 0.5 0.6 0.8 and 1.0mm nozzles. Enjoy. If you print this test stl file, please post a make.
