F14 Tomcat Here's another new plane that wasn't planned: the Grumman F14 Tomcat from 1974! The airplane is in 4 pieces to assemble. Like all other planes in this series, it comes as a card with pieces to cut out before assembling. There are 2 STL files online: plane.stl showing the assembled plane and F14 tomcat.stl which is the disassembled plane attached to the card. Print this last one. Printing is relatively easy but letters may cause some trouble too, so I recommend layer thickness of 0.15mm or less. The piece is optimized for a nozzle size of 0.4 mm or less. You might need a pair of scissors to cut out the support pieces, but it should be possible by hand. Assembly is super easy and the plane is quite big (10cm)! Your turn!
