Fallout vault ring
thingiverse
I found a Fallout Ring on sale for $99 - what a steal! I'm determined to recreate this beauty myself. And behold, after some trial and error, here's my attempt at reproducing it. First, I printed the ring face-up, and to my delight, it fit comfortably on my finger. However, you might need to adjust the size depending on your finger diameter - mine measures 20mm in diameter, but I found that a 23mm ring feels more comfortable. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the background of the gear was a tad too thin, so I made some tweaks and created a revised version, which I've dubbed Fallout Ring v1.1. This new design features an additional inner ring with a diameter of 22.5mm. If you're interested in recreating or remixing this design, feel free to use the attached Autodesk 123D Design file as your guide. And if you do decide to print it out, I'd love to see how it turns out! Don't hesitate to share your thoughts and suggestions - I'm all ears and ready to make any necessary modifications.
