Fallout vault door hinge and hollow base, remix

Wanted to transform this terrain piece into a fully-realized diorama. I decided to create a new base for my model because I hadn't saved a previous version without the hole for the switch I used, which slightly alters the design. So, I modeled a fresh one from scratch. The thin ring is specifically designed to be glued onto the terrain piece in order to secure it firmly on the base while still allowing for easy access when needed. My initial hinge design isn't entirely faithful to Fallout's canon standards, but it does serve its purpose and fits snugly into the available space of the original terrain piece. It was printed using 1.75mm filament, though some slight drilling may be required to achieve a smooth finish. In the near future, I plan on remixing the vault walls/floor with built-in space for running LEDs to add an extra layer of depth and realism to my diorama. The figures used in this project are from:
