Fallout Vault Door

After examining these two projects, I chose to automate the vault door. By building a trolley system with 2 DC Reduction Motors, I successfully pulled the vault door inward and then had it travel sideways into a recess in the rock wall. Using two bi-directional toggle switches mounted into a mock-up computer console and a concealed 6-volt battery pack, the door is able to move in both directions.
