This project is still in development and I'm working to finalize all the components without making any changes yet. If you look at my previous posts, you'll see that I regularly update on my progress. You can expect updates on this project as well, along with photos of the finished pieces. The goal of this project is to create a custom box for the Fallout board game and its California expansion. The design allows for easy storage and usage during gameplay. UPDATE 4/25: I've printed the game deck holder and the game tile holder. The game deck holder works great, but I recommend printing it with a higher detail setting (maybe .1 instead of .2) to ensure that the numbers show up clearly. The game tile holder fit the pieces, but they were a bit snug and hard to remove. To fix this, I expanded the slot, made it slightly deeper due to an error in measurement, and added slots on the edges for easier removal. The updated file is called "Game Tiles 2.0". UPDATE 5/6: I was out of town last week and didn't get a chance to work on this project. When I returned, I reprinted the game tile holder and it worked perfectly. I also printed the caps and special holder, but it's a bit snug. I might make it slightly deeper after everything is printed, but for now, I'll keep it as is. I plan to print the rest of the pieces this week and will provide updates on my progress. UPDATE 5/7/19: I've printed the token and enemies holder, and everything fit, although some compartments were hard to remove. The lid fit great after I trimmed down the excess material that my printer prints during the first layer. I also printed the card holder and its lid, but it's a bit tight, and the supports for the lid broke when I tried to attach it. Up next: - Play with the design of the token and enemies holder to make it easier to grab pieces from all compartments. - Refine the design of the card holder to make it easier and stronger. - Print the character holder. UPDATE 5/14/19: I printed the character holder, but I accidentally made the walls thinner than the others. I'll have to fix that and reprint. Up next: - Print a new design for the card holder - Print an updated version of the character holder - Print an updated token & enemies holder UPDATE 5/20/19: I've had to put this project on hold due to my busy schedule as a teacher and some issues with my printers that I'm working to resolve. It'll likely be a couple of weeks before I print the last few pieces. UPDATE 9/19/2019: Those couple of weeks have turned into months, and I've started a new job, which has left me little time for printing. The set works as is, but there are a few adjustments I'd like to make to some of the pieces when I finally have the chance.
