A pre-War STOL aircraft designed for commercial use or personal air transportation, the channel-wing plane lacks any military or bomber characteristics. Its steel gray finish, possibly painted over steel itself, features a light blue hue on its upper surface, wings, and canopy. Measuring approximately one person or two at most in length, the cockpit is situated at the front of the aircraft. The distinctive wing design, which curves under a single turbine engine before connecting to the chassis, employs the "channeled wing" scheme suitable for short takeoff and landing. Full-scale versions of this plane can be found at Camp Searchlight and Searchlight Airport, while half-buried in sand at Jean Sky Diving and Camp McCarran. The real-world prototype that inspired this design is Willard Custer's CCW-5 channel-wing aircraft.
