If you're crazy about Fallout Joe, then chances are you'll also fall in love with Fallout Joe 2: T-45d.\nMy buddy just couldn't believe the brand-new, incredibly detailed Fallout 4 Power Armor models coming out and their jaw-dropping prices. He asked me point-blank, "How difficult would it be to create a 3D printable kit like that?" I grabbed the model from Fallout 3 (posted 2 years ago on tf3dm.com, check it out: http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/t-51b-power-armor-10590.html) and tossed it into TinkerCAD. I chopped it up into segments and utilized TinkerPlay parts to make the joints move smoothly. The waist and shoulder swivels are my unique design based on a joint found in Transformers. There are 16 moving parts all told. It's only 3.75" tall, so it'll blend right in with your G.I. Joes. You can get your hands on a posing stand with the BoS logo over here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1104721, and some alternative hands that include ones with guns here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1019303 Edit 12/24: if you're having issues with Slic3r, try the "_fixed" file downloads provided by SpaceCowboy850 instead! This thing was built with Tinkercad and can be edited online right now over here https://www.tinkercad.com/things/h7eK5my9e5z-fallout-brotherhood-of-steel-3-34-scale-action-figure Instructions Print the whole model, all parts on one bed, with full supports and a raft if you need to. Don't bother trying to split it into two halves – it doesn't work out well at all and won't save you much time either. You may as well print every part in its entirety instead. The long print already can use some dissolving of supports to clean up, so try not to stress about splitting it. High resolution is what makes this model truly shine. You'll notice the ball joints working smoothly right off the bat and tiny details don't get lost when printing at higher layer sizes. But be warned, you may encounter a few warped or unusable joints if you print too high-res.
