Fallout Fusion Core

Desk Fusion Core Model This is a remix for a desktop display model that incorporates a battery to charge various devices through a USB connected cord that comes out through a lighted base. LED lights were 12 volt from a model train parts company. The base is printed in two parts. The Thin Clear Ring is printed in a transparent clear PlA and the base is a color of your choosing. It is cutout to accept the fusion core and pass the USB cord out the bottom of the base. A small battery pack and switch supplies power to the lights that are hidden by the Ring(1). If your not going to use the light feature you don't have to print the lower ring. An Anker Power Core 5000 Portable battery is inserted into the base. The LED power status can be viewed through the cutout in the side of the Fusion Core. The button is inserted with a spring and U shaped clip to actuate the power button on the Anker battery. Once you compress the spring, insert it in between the two walls with the clip. Then gently drop a small amount of glue or plastic cement to capture the clip to the button while it is pushed in from the outside. If your going to coat the model before painting you may want to print the base at 102% so you will have plenty of clearance when assembled.
