Fallout / Fallout 2 - Keycard

Fallout / Fallout 2 - Keycard

thingiverse

I created a basic model based on a Fallout 2 item, specifically keycards. The original idea was inspired by three keycards associated with Vault 15, Gecko, and an unused concept like the vertibird. The Red Keycard is currently available and should open the Vault 15 elevator. I may upload additional models for the Yellow and Blue keycards in the future. An update includes a new model, the Gecko PP KeyCard, which can be used with any color scheme. The Keycard model features a small space inside to accommodate items like credit cards or transportation cards, making it functional as both a protective cover and a decorative prop. The screws used for assembly are incredibly small, measuring 1mm in diameter. I recommend using electronics-grade screws due to their precision fit. Alternatively, you can use screws from broken laptop parts, such as the optical disk compartment, which worked perfectly in this model. Personally, I envision printing the V15 keycard in red, the Gecko keycard in yellow, and the West Tek Research Facility keycard in blue to create a complete set. I plan to design the West Tek model in the coming days.
