Fallout Board Game Orgainzer
thingiverse
This is a custom Fallout Board Game organizer. The inserts & bags the original game comes with are totally inadequate, so I created my own. Since I don't have a printer that prints at 11.5" by 11.5", I pieced it together section by section. Each part has its own tray except for the main piece that holds tiles, caps, small cards, and miscellaneous items including dice. They all fit in the box together and some even nest inside. Everything prints well without requiring much finish work except for the nested parts. The top tray holding setup directions and faction tokens has support material and might need a little sanding (I remodeled the part that fits into the box underneath it, but I didn't reprint it as I sanded mine down to fit). The special tray should fit perfectly since it was redesigned, but since I also sanded this down to fit, I didn't reprint it. Some of these pieces take ages to print, and since they're right at the limit of my printer's print bed, I printed them individually and spent a week printing (and some reprinting). That being said, I also printed at .15 layer height with a 5 outline perimeter skirt in order to prevent curling. This didn't work well, so make sure to use your favorite bed adhesive. I also used 4 layer top layers so that I would minimize the thing that happens near the edges of the print where flat stuff falls between infill near the edges of the print. I'm new to 3D printing and this is my first original creation, so I don't know what that's called. Hope this helps you with your Fallout Board Game organization, and hopefully it won't lighten your wallet too much due to the amount of plastic used... don't say I didn't warn you =)
