Fallout Alien Blaster
myminifactory
This is a high-tech blaster inspired by the Fallout universe, boasting advanced LED lights, a fully functioning trigger, and realistic sound effects! The blaster's design is modular, with multiple pieces that come together to house its cutting-edge electronics. Most of these components are secured in place using screws and adhesives for added stability. At the heart of the blaster lies a red laser diode embedded in the barrel, which provides an unmistakable visual cue when the trigger is pulled. Inside the inner barrel, an LED ring comes alive with a burst of light as soon as the trigger is activated. The trigger itself features a satisfying spring-back effect and a tactile button that controls both the LEDs and the sound effects. Meanwhile, the handle houses a vital trio of components: an amplifier, micro-controller, and sound effects board. Completing the package is a compact metal speaker mounted at the back of the blaster's body. Powering this incredible device is a rechargeable lithium polymer battery, which can be easily charged via USB. For those who want to dive deeper into the world of electronics, the Adafruit learning system offers comprehensive instructions, circuit diagrams, and assembly photos to help bring this project to life.
