I built a high-definition bobblehead model from scratch to give my nephew a unique gift. The new face design is more accurate than ever before! I realized too late that I forgot to add spring support, so I created Headpin V1 specifically for use with this 1.3-inch spring: https://amzn.to/2Mtgvnc. For those who can't find the springs I used, Headpin V2 will work with a modified version of these alternatives: https://amzn.to/2QhoyER or https://amzn.to/2ERQMRe. To use Headpin V2 correctly, you'll need to cut it down to size. The ideal spring size is as follows: 0.3 inches in diameter, with a wire size of 0.022 inches and a compressed length of 0.713 inches. The outer diameter should be around 10mm or 2 inches, while the length needs to be approximately 30mm. Finally, make sure the wire size is exactly 0.56mm for optimal results.
