Fallout 4 - Wall Mounted Terminal Replica

Read this, it's something you really need to see! Are you a fan of the Fallout series? Do you have a Raspberry Pi lying around that's just collecting dust and feeling left behind? Here's your chance to have your very own wall-mounted terminal replica, inspired by the Fallout series! This replica is made up of 12 STL files (13 parts, print 2 knobs) and it looks best printed with supports at 200 microns. If you're in a hurry, it still looks fine at 300 microns as well. You're going to sand and fill it anyway, right? Of course you are! Size (when assembled): 5 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 6 inches tall We made it from scratch using Autodesk Inventor/Trimble Sketchup. These models are according to MyMiniFactory's site terms and conditions for use. These models or prints produced with these models are for personal use only and are not allowed for resale or commercial use of any kind without express permission, which is exclusive to MyMiniFactory. In other words, don't print off kits and sell them on Etsy. That's not cool. Edit: 4/18/17 - We added a new terminal-body-logo-pi-edit.stl file - use this one if you're installing an LCD screen, it removes the tabs that get in the way of the screen mounts. If you already printed the old body file, a dremel or file can be used to smooth those out. Edit 2: 7/30/17 - We deleted all of the files and reuploaded them. We made some minor tweaks and made sure all of the meshes were solid. Also added is a bill of materials that we used for our RetroPie build, with Amazon links and a PDF of the acrylic cutout for the screen. We also have it available in a .dwg if anyone wants to laser cut it, just shoot us an email or a message and we'll send it to you! Edit 3: 7/25/2018 - Tolerances updated on the body, screen shroud, and back. Possible future FAQs? PFFAQs?! "How did you finish/paint/sand/wire/etc. yours, it looks awesome!" Thanks for asking! We made a time-lapsed build video to show you how we did it. If you have any questions, just let us know.
