Working on building a Fallout 4 PS4 frame is the first step in creating something amazing - the iconic Fallout logo takes center stage. This detailed hand-tracing process in Adobe Illustrator CS6 begins with a precise rendition of the Fallout 4 logo from a screen capture of the trailer's opening scene. To achieve this, I split the model into three files: the intricate frame, sturdy bolt, and elegantly designed letters. Design Challenges Were Turned Upside Down Along the way, several small but critical issues arose in the original design. These problems were tackled by introducing cleaner lines and stronger walls for a more robust structure. I also developed two distinct versions of the letters - one identical to the frame and another that's 0.5mm thinner across all edges to account for any slight shrinking caused by the printing process. Customizing the Frame, Lighting Bolt, and Letters A silver finish was chosen for the frame while black ink was used for the letters. To complete this unique design, clear-orange material was selected for the lightning bolt - allowing natural light to shine through it from every angle. What Happens Next: The Finishing Touches Printing Complete When I printed all the components together using an advanced printer with intricate settings, the outcome exceeded expectations. However, some assembly adjustments had to be made later. Post-Printing Considerations A Couple of Key Hints To Keep in Mind Mostly tight fits between letters and their slots worked beautifully after fine-tuning. Just be careful not to overdo it, as this has been seen resulting in overly smoothed out areas which can detract from the look of the final build
