Fallout 4 Deathclaw
thingiverse
I spent some time looking for a decent model of a Deathclaw in Fallout 4, but what I found was pretty disappointing - all the ones I came across were either way too smooth or looked like they had been created with low poly counts. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my very own Deathclaw, which turned out to be a quick and painless process. How I Did It First things first, I unpacked the Fallout 4 resources using a program called Zbrush. Then, I extracted the vanilla Deathclaw model and its corresponding normal map from the game itself. Next up, I used Zbrush to apply those normals as a height map, which added an extra layer of depth and realism to my design. To give it that certain je ne sais quoi, I also created a stylish stand for my new Deathclaw and made sure to fix any seams or holes in the process. And just like that, I had myself a brand new Deathclaw, all thanks to some good old-fashioned tinkering.
