Fallingwater, an architectural masterpiece designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1935, is located 43 miles from Pittsburgh. Situated over a waterfall in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands, it was built as a weekend retreat for Liliane Kaufmann and her husband, Edgar J. Kaufmann Sr., the owner of Kaufmann's Department Store. Time magazine hailed it as Wright's most beautiful work, while the Smithsonian Institute included it in its list of 28 must-visit places. In 1966, Fallingwater was designated a National Historic Landmark, and in 1991, the American Institute of Architects named it the best all-time work of American architecture. In 2007, it ranked 29th on America's Favorite Architecture list. The 3D model of Fallingwater was created using SketchUp and rendered with V-Ray 3.4 for a realistic representation.
