As the Nakatomi Tower's elevator plummeted downward, Hans Gruber, a man of cunning and skill, found himself hurtling through space, his fate hanging precariously in the balance. The city streets below seemed to rush up to meet him with increasing speed, a dizzying blur of lights and sounds that threatened to overwhelm his senses.
